Montecristo No. 3
With a ring gauge of 42 and a length of 14.2 cm, this cigar is very much similar to the No. 4. Despite the success of its brother, the No. 3 does not score highly with the majority of cigar smokers and, in one’s personal experience, is far too acidic. This could perhaps be attributed to the fact that this cigar is said to require at least 3 years aging before it can be truly appreciated.
Fresh out of the box, the No. 3 is slightly more costly the No. 4 but does not produce the same level of satisfaction despite the parallel tones of earthy chocolate and newly purchased, is far more suitable for the humidor than it is for the palette.
